A green witch is someone who works with the elements, the local land spirits, and all things green. The green witch is able to harness the energy of the natural sources around her by developing a close connection with local plants, trees, and wildlife as well as with the earth itself. Green witches know much about the identities, myths and the care of plant-life and seek to preserve it. They attempt to connect with the earthen world through earth based spirituality. They acknowledge magic and use it in tune with natural forces to accomplish a goal. The pentacle represents the 4 elements of nature; earth, air, wind, fire, and water, with spirit being on top and balance with the elements.
